Can You Imagine Creating Art, Only to Destroy it?
ABOUT

The Artist
Jennifer Troice is a Mexican American sculptor who began her artistic career playing the piano & harp.
She studied visual art while attending high school at the American School Foundation in Mexico City & continued her training at the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston. While at the Universidad Iberoamericana, Jennifer earned her degree in psychology.
As a sculptor, Troice uses smooth curves for human figures & a style she coined “geometric minimalism” for animals.
Jennifer’s work is exhibited publicly & privately, around the world, in small & monumental-scale formats.
Jennifer launched HOPE FOUNDRY to fuel her passion for sculpting hope & healing through human connection & funding for mental health wellness.
With her charitable partners, the proceeds ($60 per Helping Hand sculpture purchase) from the HELPING HAND sculpture collection support mental health wellness.

The Mission

Jennifer's Journey
Jennifer Troice survived being kidnapped at 17, for 12 days, & was later diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
After suffering the unimaginable, through art, connection, & sharing her experience, Jennifer was able to go from trauma to hope & healing. She is an inspiration to those enduring the darkest of times.
While some days are easier than others, Jennifer is thriving today. She is a wife, mom to three active boys, dog-mom, volunteer, friend & gifted sculptor.

HOPE FOUNDRY
EXPERIENCE
Jennifer has a beautiful soul & a solid core of steel.
It would have been easy for this experience [kidnapping] to take her down a very dark path, & I am so proud of her & amazed by her strength, resilience, & absolute determination to
not let this beat her.

of INDIVIDUAL KIDNAPPED, OCTOBER 7
I understood that I have to take care of myself. I talked with the people of the Hosen Division, and I asked them if I could have a mental treatment, and of course, they let me join the program.
So now, after five months, I feel more comfortable with myself, less angry, and more accepting of what happened.
